  • Offered my old iPad to a friend's little sister, instant regret.
  • So I (23F) had an old iPad Mini 4 sitting in a drawer. It's a bit slow, but still works fine for YouTube, ebooks and stuff so I figured I'd be nice and offer it to my friend's
  • little sister (she's 12 and loves to draw), thinking she'd appreciate it. Well, big mistake.
  • My friend calls me back a few hours later and after exchanging pleasantries she said she was happy I gave her lil sis the iPad but wanted to know if I had one with more storage. 32GB
  • according to her isn't enough for her sister's apps. I was surprised but said no, that that's all I had. Then she says she was hoping for one with an apple

  • SudOF1nch Take it back under the guise of "upgrades" and then just, forget, forever. F em.
  • Starbu People are gross and disgustingly ungrateful. Not quite the same thing, but just as upsetting to me, years ago when a friend of mine was struggling a bit with major life
  • changes, she would make comments like she wishes she could buy a new purse or had as many as I did. I didn't have a lot of very expensive ones, but they were cute and I changed them
  • often. Well, not long after I decided I didn't need so many so I gave her maybe five or six I didn't use so often. She seemed thrilled and I was happy to give them to her. And a few days later...it was
  • brought to my attention through another mutual friend that they were up on eBay for sale. That was never my intention to give them to her to sell and profit off of. I
  • wanted her to use them herself. I know that once you give something to someone you have no say in what they do with it, but like that was profoundly messed up in my opinion. Never again...
